Jack was once a simple woodsman whose only joy was felling timber for the homes and fires of the forest inhabitants.
But when the timber companies arrived and began violating the balance of things, Nature endowed him with a magical axe, and he became known as Lumber-Jack.
He's the big brain of the group; a quiet and introspective fellow with a penchant for science and the arts. He can seem a bit arrogant at times because he loves his friends, but thinks they're, ahem, not the shiniest apples in the bunch.
