Not all the Soulan are born with the desire to better themselves and their surroundings. Darknez is one such being.
Eons ago, Darknez was exiled from Enlightenment to a dark moon by the Soulan. Unbeknownst to them, Darknez lived on in madness, fueled by his hate, biding his time, increasing his power. He formulated a devious plan that destroyed Enlightenment, but fell short of his goal to capture the Sacred Scroll to use for his own corrupt purposes.
The Soulan absconded with the Scroll and followed the prophecy that led to Earth and The Chosen One. Darknez tracked them and invaded the planet. With General Klann's help, he stole the Scroll.
Now, deep in a downward spiral toward insanity, he must find a way to kill The Chosen One and seal the fate of the Soulan forever.
