Before Zadi dedicated her life to Enlightenment and the war against Darknez, she was a well-known thief whose true identity and origin is clouded in mystery.
She became aware of her keen telepathic abilities and uncanny intuition a good time prior to becoming a Soulan warrior. Those innate skills kept her safe on her hometown streets of New York City's South Bronx, and she eventually learned to use them to her advantage.
In her mid twenties she was discovered by Pops and recruited to join the Soulan in their quest.
