Jonto is an alien Soulan from Felenn, a very distant and isolated star system whose inhabitants are cautious about the company they keep. This can make Jonto seem unfriendly, but he is a loyal companion to those who know him.
Jonto possesses the unique gift of "cloaking" himself, and sometimes others. He can appear almost invisible against any background, much like the chameleon on Earth.
He did not begin his journey walking the path to self-knowledge until much later in life than most Soulan warriors do, but that hasn't kept him from achieving the highest degree of development. An individual of arrayed skills, he is also an expert swordsman and pilot.
